Gift Guide for the Country Women
Slippers
Wool Slippers. The Minnetonka and Old Friend are both great options. These slippers are the best! At first, the price tag got me, but after a few months, they speak for themselves and are well worth the extra money. The hard soles allow you to wear them outside on the deck and helps them last. I put them on our boot dryer to warm them up and keep them fresh and warm. Great gift!
Cute Work Gloves
I have these Carhartt ones. They are warm and cute.
Socks
Wigwam Socks– These socks are well made and cozy warm. They are American Made too, in my Home State of Wisconsin! My dresser is full of wigwam socks and there are many styles to choose from. Here are a few cute ones for women.
Cute Farm Shirts
Farm Shirts– Give me all the farm shirts you can! I could wear these shirts all week long! Especially when they are soft and cozy like this one.
Check out this adorable one from This Farm Wife– Spead Butter, Not Hate
A Good Pair of Boots
Muck Boots– This was my Christmas present two years ago and they are still amazing! They are comfortable, warm, and leak proof. On the farm, these are worn daily! I also have the shorter ones but since we live in the Mid-West the high boots just seem to be better for barn work. The Muckster (short boots) are great for warm weather and gardening.
Plaid Throw Blankets
Classic plaid throw blankets- I love this classic, country look. And those fringes, you need the fringes. The first picture is an affordable price and would look great draped on a chair. The second picture is made with recycled wool and has great reviews. As a sheep owner, I love wool! The second one is on my Christmas Wish List but I would be happy with either.
A Cute Mug
Insulated Travel Mug- I love my YETI but sometimes you just want something different. And sometimes you just need a little sparkle in your life. How cute is this Brumante Imperial Mug? They have a whole bunch of Other Colors and Styles Too. I received the Wine Glass Tumbler last year as a gift and really liked it. It is of great quality and again, sparkly.
Anything Copper
Copper Bowls– I love the look of copper mixing bowls. They are great for mixing and serving.
Craft Kits
Kits to learn something new. There is no better time than winter to learn something new. I personally like asking for craft kits for Christmas because they include everything you need to complete the project. Below are a few that I have personally received and love.
Candle Making Kit– I received this candle making kit as a gift last year. It is wonderfully packaged and has seasonal scents. The instructions are easy to follow.
Winemaking kit– I received this winemaking 2 years ago. We are still using it and still making wine. It has a great instructional video that came along with it. This is a perfect kit for someone who is ready to try winemaking.
I also think that hand-lettering, knitting, crocheting, sewing, cross-stitch, painting, watercolor, and many other hobbies I didn’t mention would be great gifts.
Online Courses
I think these are easy to overlook but you can learn ANYTHING these days with the internet. Online Courses and resources are exploding and you can find great deals on them during the holiday season. I personally have enjoyed a few and would promote them to others. Sometimes, you just need to be walked through things and get a hand-holding.
Money Saving Mom Courses
Money Saving Mom Resources– I am a BIG fan of Crystal Paine’s courses, books, and resources. I have been following her for years! She has the best courses to help moms become more organized, productive, and happy. They are also budget-friendly! A few that I have done include: Make Over Your Mornings, Slash Your Grocery Bill, and Blog Start-Up 101. I am proudly an affiliate of hers! If you are looking to improve your life, save money, or learn how to blog, her resources are worth the money.
Online Photography Course
Beginner’s Guide to Manual Mode by Courtney from Click it Up a Notch– I had a DSLR camera sitting around for years and I struggled to learn how to use it to its full potential. I needed some hand-holding. This course was perfect! It got me using my camera and learning new skills right away. There are plenty of free resources for you to explore too.
Great news! I reached out to Courtney and she is generously offering my readers a discount on the Beginner’s Guide to Manual Mode course. It normally sells for $197, but you can get lifetime access to it for just $97! Use the link here.
If learning photography is one of your dreams, you will want to snag this offer. I believe this course is well worth the money!
Books
And never forget about Books.
The Prairie Homestead Cookbook – There is something about a new cookbook that just excites me. I receive this one and it has quickly become a favorite of mine. It is SO much more than just a cookbook. Packed with information on gardening, preserving, raising animals, and more.
The Introverted Mom by Jamie C. Martin- This book is on Christmas Wish List. As an introverted mom myself, sometimes I do not get the alone time I may need homeschool 4 kids (2 of them extroverted). I’ve heard great things about this book and think that it would help me understand myself more and encourage me on my motherhood journey.
The Brave Learner by Julie Bogart– I have this book and LOVE IT! What an inspiration to moms out there! It is geared towards homeschool moms, but I think that it would be great for any mom who wants to be creative and have fun with her family.
Some Cute Etsy Shops I Love
Solace Farm Homestead– I purchased a few of these soaps last year as gifts (and I kept a few for myself). They were really nice.
